Maestro Marco Atturo Conductor.
Maestro Atturo was born in Anagni (City of the popes - Italy) in 1985. Pianist, Composer and Conductor.
He graduated with honors from the Conservatory “Licinio Refice” of Frosinone and studied
composition with Azio Corghi at the Royal Academy Philharmonic (Bologna).
At a young age he performed as a chorist (tenor), pianist, organist and harpsichordist in various
chamber ensembles and at the age of eighteen, on the occasion of the solemn celebrations for the feast of St. Cecilia played the organ of St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican in Rome. He wrote theatral music for the "The rotten Flowers " and"The forgotten diligence " directed by F.Purse and G.Bellucci. Some of his compositions have been performed in various music festivals and
In June 2008 he worked as pianist and Chorus master of the Teatro Eliseo in Rome for the Britten's Opera "The Little Sweep" and 2009 as korripetitor at the Städtische Bühnen Münster (Germany), where he prepared the Works: Lulu, Parsifal and Boris Godunov. At the age of 25 he made his debut debut on the podium at "Teatro degli Industri" (Grosseto) with the opera Gianni Schicchi, followed by "Don Giovanni" at "Teatro Comunale" (Fiuggi)
He currently works with several choirs and orchestras as a guest conductor, and repetiteur for the singers. On the occasion of the 10th edition of the International Prize "Giuseppe Sciacca" for young scholars at the Pontifical Urban University in Rome, he was awarded the first prize in music
